Ryan Gear is the founding pastor of One Church in Chandler, AZ and of openmindedchurch.org, a growing national directory of churches willing to thoughtfully wrestle with questions and doubts. He is a regular contributor to Huffington Post, Onfaith, Beliefnet, and Convergent Books, and his articles have been featured in Real Clear Religion.

Ryan is also the founder of Elevation Collective, a consulting firm that exists to elevate the level fundraising, branding, and marketing in nonprofit charitable organizations and churches.

Ryan is an initiator in the OPEN Network and Convergence U.S., a movement bringing together forward-thinking Catholics, Evangelicals, and mainline Protestants, along with ethnic and peace churches and other willing colleagues, in a growing movement-building collaborative.
