Rev. Victoria S. Ubben

Victoria S. Ubben

Victoria S. Ubben comes from a long line of German Evangelicals who moved from Germany in search of a new life in Indianapolis, Indiana. Those German Evangelicals were a part of the conversations that gave birth to the United Church of Christ in 1957. Victoria was born in 1961 and was baptized into the newly formed U.C.C.

Her spiritual journey took her to Massachusetts where she quickly settled in amongst the New England Congregationalists (another branch of the U.C.C. family tree). She was educated at Harvard Divinity School and ordained by the Massachusetts Conference of the U.C.C. in 1988.

For 32 years Victoria has served as a local church pastor in the Massachusetts Conference and then in the Indiana-Kentucky Conference. She has served on many Association and Conference Boards and Committees, has served our denomination on several mission trips, and has been a chaplain in various settings.

In 2019 while on a mission trip to Guatemala, she answered a “call” to move to the American southwest. Victoria is married to Joe and together they have five sons.

Victoria and Joe joined the United Church of Santa Fe in 2020, and have now retired to Whitewater, Wisconsin.
